This mag is a postwar production of Walther. On the left side is the famous walther banner with the model designation P38 and caliber 9mm below it . On the spine is no production date, no Nato stock nummer and also no acceptance stamp. However at the bottom of the spine is a 4-pointed star. This star is frequently found on postwar P.38 pistols (mainly om the slide and the slide release button). But I don't have any reports yet of any other mags with this star stamped on it. The stars on these parts indicate improved parts, however I don't have a clue about the meaning of this star with respect to the magazine. Any help is appreciated!
