P38 magazines produced in Denmark have a light grey phosphate finish. The magazines have five circular welding spots. The shape of the spots is comparable to the ones found on the “Spreewerk” magazines. Usually, no markings were applied on the magazine housing, but sometimes the English text “Made in Denmark” is stamped on the floorplate. The reason why Denmark produced P.38 magazines is unknown, and the exact manufacturer and date of production is unfortunately still a mystery.
